Description

The newest offering from the Dream Salon Guild:  a  2 part “advanced” intro to lucid dreaming & dream re-entry!

This online course is for those curious on how to navigate their sleeping dreams with conscious awareness, or how to “re-enter” a dream while waking, using a form of active imagination.  Both are methods that can help increase creative flow during waking hours, as well as access to authentic internal guidance on how to navigate our lives more fully engaged and inspired, and sustain that momentum.

In two sessions, we go through the steps necessary to initiate lucid dreams, ones in which we become more conscious of our dream state and interactions in that realm.

We also practice “re-entry” while awake, to either alter our experience of the original dream, or mine it for additional information, idea sparks or guidance.

Benefits of both methods include expanded access to our natural creative font and wisdom, as well as heightened sensory awareness while waking.  Both also offer ways to work with and meaningfully resolve conflicts, manage day-to-day anxieties, and build our resiliency to thrive, enjoy and contribute on our life-path.

This workshop includes resources and guidelines for continued exploration of these dream work methods.

What We Will Be Doing Over Two Sessions:

  • Accessing where we are at as dreamers and creative individuals – types of dreams we have, etc.
  • Looking at the differences between Lucid Dreaming & Dream-Re-Entry;
  • Exploring where, when and how each can be used — and when not to use one or either;
  • Walking through the initial steps for increased conscious awareness during sleep dreams;
  • Employing a couple of interactive activities together to increase sensory perception while awake;
  • Walking through steps for re-entering a dream (and reasons for doing so) while awake, a form of active imagination;
  • Be led in 1-2 guided meditations to employ skills that help lucid dreaming and/or re-entry;
  • Providing a framework and exercises for testing these methods on your own over 1-2 weeks; and
  • Checking in during the second session to share and discuss what we have experienced, answer questions and provide resources and guidelines for ongoing explorations on your own.

What to Have On Hand:

A journal, sketchbook or even scrap paper and pens/pencils
One or two dreams, dream images that were important to you or that lingered in your mind, if possible.  Can be a fragment or a snippet — or even just a type of dream you may be wondering about.

Time and Other Commitments:

The workshop consists of two sesions that are one-hour in length each.
It is recommended between the first and second session you set aside some dedicated time to work with your dreams using the methods and guidelines provided.

Prerequisites:

This is an “advanced” intro, so it helps if you already are an active dreamer, with some recall of dreams or dream snippets, and have some experience working with your dreams when awake (journaling, sketching, contemplating them, etc).  Curious but uncertain if this course is appropriate for you?  Reach out to us by email:  info@magictemplearts.com

Facilitation:

This workshop is currently facilitated by Carli Castellani, A Dream Salon Guide.
